RACING
Garry Kirkup began his training career at a young age at Mike Willesse’s Trans Media Park Stud in Cootamundra, NSW.
Throughout his time at Trans Media Park Stud, Garry won races such as the Tristarc Stakes, Emancipation Stakes, multiple Country Cups, along with being one of the leading trainers in the SDRA for many years.
Notable racehorses over this period included Ice Cream Sundae, Grillita, Prince of Sports, Bowie, A Bit of Magic.
Garry now trains in Canberra on the racecourse. The facilities include large open air stables and yards, treadmill, a brand new state of the art water-walker, multiple training tracks and access to the Canberra course proper for track gallops.
